Trekking for Paul
Story
A rare and aggressive gastrointestinal cancer rapidly took my dad from his healthy, active and full life. He faced his disease with courage and grace. He taught us that life is about giving. He lives on in us and this challenge allows us to give back in his honour.
With my brother and sister-in-law, we undertaking the Kangaroo Island Gutsy Challenge and trekking over 73KM to raise awareness and vital funds for Gastro-Intestinal (GI) cancer research - a cause that is close to my heart.
Over 37,780 Australians are diagnosed with a GI cancer each year. Clinical trials research is essential to improving treatment options and outcomes for GI cancer patients. It is only through the valuable support of our community that we can achieve change!

Gastro-Intestinal (GI) cancer is the most common form of cancer claiming a devastating 51 lives each day. At the GI Cancer Institute, our vision is to create a world free from GI cancers.
